ABOUT US
Greetings! I'm coach V. My journey into the youth world of sports began at Alabama State University where I received a bachelor of science in physical education and played 3 years in the SWAC (South Western Athletic Conference) under Coach Cole college football program.
After graduation I left the state of Alabama to return back home to Florida where I found a home for myself as a physical education coach. During my 5 years coaching PK-8TH I manage to come up with all types of after school programs for the students.
I first started the "SPORTS CLUB" which is a after school program that range from ages 4-13 where kids engage in physical fitness and in all manner of sports such as soccer, tee-ball, basketball, flag football, bowling, hockey, kickball, soft ball, and etc. The youngsters that are apart of the "SPORTS CLUB" also compete among their classmates.
The "SPORTS CLUB" after school program has flourished tremendously since the start which lead me to venture out and start a after school sports league called, A.S.S.L. (After School Sports League) within the Broward County area where kids can display and measure their sporting skills against each other.
The ASSL consist of sports such as Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, and Kickball. The league involves traveling, well officiated games, and a chance for all schools to compete for a CHAMPION TROPHY! The league is extremely fun, competitive, and exciting! ASSL has grown into a well established and growing program but that didn't stop me or park the brake for me! Every summer since I worked at the Blake School for 5 years I worked as a sport instructor in various summer camps. I first worked for the City of Sunrise as a Assistant Camp Supervisor, I worked at ALM sports camp in Tamarac over the summer holding that same title and I also worked for the Casely Tennis camp in Pembroke Pines FL. All of the experience I had working with kids in summer camps and as a PE coach organizing all manner of sports and athletic programs after school lead me to start up my own summer sports program by the name of SUMMER V-CAMP SPORTS, V-CAMP FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUES and etc... So there you have it! That's the journey I took to arrive at the point I am currently in. Trust and believe the train doesn't stop here for me! The fun has just begun!
